Dear Friends,
I have had the sacred honor and privilege of creating and presiding over our annual remembrance service for several years. During this gathering, we unite to celebrate the members and friends of Unity by the Shore, as well as your personal loved ones who have made their transition.
During this year’s Remembrance and Reverence of our Beloveds ceremony, we will celebrate the beautiful souls, Barbara Ely and Gayle Hammond, longtime members of UBTS, as well as your dear ones who have journeyed beyond the veil in 2022. If a loved one(s) of yours has made his/her/their transition in 2022, and you would like his/her/their name to be acknowledged in a prayer during the service, please share his/her/their full name and relationship to you (e.g., sister, friend, dog) with me by completing the form below by November 10th. I realize that our pets are precious; so, if a winged or furry family member has made their transition, please share their name with me as well.
Additionally, after we have honored our dear ones who made their transition during 2022, all will be given an opportunity to place the name(s) of a loved one(s) who has made their transition prior to 2022 on a floral heart wreath that will be adorning our altar. If you are joining via Zoom, there will be an opportunity for you to share one or two names of your beloveds with the community after the in-person pinning is completed. In addition, I invite you to bring a photo or small memento of your deceased beloved(s) with you to the service, regardless of how you will be participating (in-person or via Zoom).
Let us come together during our Remembrance and Reverence of Our Beloveds service to hold sacred space for one another and to be renewed by the healing power of Divine Love and Grace.
Love,
Rev. Angela
